Far, Far Away

This blog post is about Shrek 2. Which happens right after Shrek and Fiona get married. Shrek gets to meet Fiona’s parent, that are human not Ogre. They have a little bit (lie, they have a lot of trouble throw out the whole movie) of trouble throw out the movie. Donkey and Dragon are having some problems, Donkey says she’s moody all the time and she is a little mad every once in awhile. But, I love this movie just as much as I love the first one when I was a kid.

At the beginning of the movie you see a man on a horse riding it, then he stop at the tower Fiona was in and was looking for her, but instead he found a talking wolf telling him that Fiona was on her honeymoon. Shrek and Fiona are getting married, and go on a beautiful fairy tale honeymoon. When they come back home, a.k.a. the swamp, Donkey is there and says he is there to stay. Shrek and Fiona ask Donkey why is not with Dragon, he says that Dragon is moody and grumpy. So he is going to stay there for a while. Outside, in the swamp there was a squire blowing a horn to invite Fiona and “Prince Charming” to Fiona’s home. Which is where she lived before her parents locked her away into a tower. Her parents are the King and Queen of Far, Far Away.

They start traveling to Far, Far Away,where her parents live, also with a lot of famous fairy tale story creatures. They were traveling for a long time, and Donkey when with them. Donkey was saying “Are We There Yet” like annoying kids do when you are on a long car trip. When they finally get to Far, Far Away they get out to meet Fiona’s parents and everyone is shocked to find out that Fiona is a ogre and is married to an orge. Shrek was scared that her parents might harm her of him. King Harold and Queen Lillian are super surprised that Fiona is with Shrek instead of the prince that was supposed to rescue her. Which is also the prince that was at the beginning of the movie.

They go and get ready for dinner. At the dinner table there is a big argument between Shrek and King Harold, that is all about Fiona. Like how they live, where they live, and what kind of babies they are going to have. Fiona gets mad and goes to her room, and finds her “Fairy Godmother”, who also is very suprised that Fiona is an ogre. She said she can give anything to Fiona is she asks for it.

Later, King Harold is talking to Queen Lillian about Fiona and how Prince Charming was so rescue Fiona from the tower. He goes outside and there is Fiona’s “Fairy Godmother” in a flying car and tells him to get in. He gets in and the Fairy Godmother is in there with her son Prince Charming. Right now I was super surprised. Fairy Godmother is yelling at the King, that he has to break Fiona and Shrek up. The King says that is on it, so Prince Charming can become King of Far, Far Away. The King goes and talks to Shrek that they should resolve their problems and go take a peaceful walk in the woods. On the other side the King hired Puss n’ Boots to kill Shrek in the woods, when “him” and Shrek are walking. Shrek and Donkey are walking in the woods and they were waiting for the King. Big shock there, that he is not out there. They both come across Puss n’ Boots and Puss fights them but loses. Puss tells them that the King hired him to kill Shrek, Puss becomes a friend (that Donkey does not like.)

Shrek, Donkey, and Puss n’ Boots go to meet the Fairy Godmother, to see if she can do something to make him more like a prince. She yells at them to get out, so they stay a little while and crashed all of the positions and stole one of them. Shrek and Donkey that the position. They both woke up to fight women around them taking care of them. Shrek ends up a human and Donkey a trusty stead. Fiona wakes up to find herself human too. They look at the position and it is called Happily Ever After. So, she starts to look for Shrek, and finds Prince Charming saying he is Shrek. While Shrek was with Fairy Godmother, she was telling him the Fiona is better of with “Prince Charming” or someone she loves. Which is Shrek not Stupid Prince Charming.

Fiona is talking with her dad, who is supposed to give her a love position to make her fall in love with Prince Charming, the “Shrek” is different and is not acting like the man she fell in love with. At the party that the King had Fiona, every famous fairy tale person/creature came to honor Fiona and “Shrek”. Shrek crashed to party and talk to Fiona, Prince Charming kisses her and she punched him, because the King must have given her the wrong cup of tea. Fiona, Shrek, Donkey, Puss, and the King are fighting with the Fairy Godmother,she turns the King back into a frog, them she turned into a bubble and popped, which means she is dead. Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey all become their normal selves. Donkey finds out why Dragon was so moody, she had Dronkey babies (donkey-dragon hybrids) and Donkey is a father. And they lived happily ever after, until the third movie.

I love this movie, just not as much as the first one. I hope you watch this movie and like it as much as I do. Enjoy you movie watcher, until next week for another favorite movie of mine.
