OFF WITH THERE HEAD

This blog post is about Alice in Wonderland. This is a great movie, one of the best remakes of Alice in Wonderland, the cartoon movie. Though the cartoon movie made me cry at the end of it. This is a great movie made by Tim Burton. When I saw a trailer for this movie, I just had to watch it. Also, because it was directed by Tim Burton, and I was just like “I’m in, let's go see this movie”.

The cast of Alice in Wonderland, is Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, who you may know off of The Lone Ranger. Mia Wasikowska as Alice, who you may know off of Crimson Peak. Helena Bonham Carter as Red Queen, who you may know off of Dark Shadows. Anne Hathaway as White Queen, who you may know off of Les Miserables. Alan Rickman as Caterpillar, who you may know off of Harry Potter. Stephen Fry as Cheshire Cat, who you know off of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Crispin Glover as Knave of Hearts, who you may know off of Back to the Future. Michael Sheen as White Rabbit, who you may know off of Underworld. Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum, who you may know off of Bridesmaids. Timothy Spall as Bayard the Bloodhound, who you may know off of Harry Potter. Christopher Lee as the Jabberwock, who you may know off of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The movie starts off with Alice “dreaming” about being in Wonderland. She goes to her father who tells her in a crazy dream, but the crazy is a good thing. Then, it goes to Alice and her mother are going to a “party” and on the way there the mom starts to argue with Alice. The party was a engagement between Alice and Hamish, who she did not want to marry, so she ran away without answering. So after the proposal she run away and started to follow the Rabbit. She follows the rabbit down a rabbit hole, into a strange reality, known as Wonderland. The Rabbit is with some of this other things that are just like him, talking animals. Alice thinks that this is all a dream. They have been looking for the Alice that visited them when she was just a girl. Then the Red Queen send a small army to take down anyone who does not like her as their Queen. The Red Queen then finds out that Alice is back, and orders “OFF WITH HER HEAD” like she does all the time. A lot more things happen, I don’t want to ruin the whole movie for you. Alice then has to fight the Jabberwocky to the DEATH. She then drinks the blood of the Jabberwocky to get back home. Alice then, start to work with her father’s business partner, aka Hamish’s dad. She said “NO” to the proposal.

The characters in the movie represent someone else in the movie, between normal and Wonderland. White Queen is Alice’s sister. Mad Hatter is Alice’s father. Jabberwocky means the Proposal. Knave of Hearts is Alice’s sister's husband, the cheater. Tweedledee and Tweedledum as the Chattaway twins. Rabbit is Alice’s mother. Cheshire Cat is Alice’s father's business partner, Hamish’s father. The Crazy Hare (crazy one with the mad hatter) is Alice’s aunt. Caterpillar is her conscience.

This is a great movie to watch, and I’ve preview for the second movie to this one , and it’s coming out somethin in the summer of 2016. This is a fun filled movie, that makes want to imagine things in your spare time, or all the time. Also, to show kids to have courage, no matter what you can make it throw, just keep fighting or swimming. I hope you enjoy, and read about the next movie I’ll write about.
