The New King of Far, Far Away

This week I am writing about the movie Shrek the Third. It is one of the four Shrek movies, that I still love. This movie is about Shrek looking for Arthur to be King of Far, Far Away, because he did not want to be the new King after Fiona’s father passed away. Then Prince Charming takes over the Kingdom, while Shrek, Donkey and Puss n’ Boots go after Arthur.

The movie starts off with Shrek and Fiona filling in for the King in royal matters. With Shrek usual ends up ruining the holy thing and making a giant mess. Then they find out that the King is dying (the king is still a frog, from the movie before.) They visit the King while he is in his bed, which is lilypads in a tub full of water. The King dies, which I cried the first time I watched the movie. Shrek goes off to find Fiona’s cousin to become the King of Far, Far Away.

Shrek, Donkey and Puss n’ Boots start to get ready to leave, on a ship. Once they get on the ship Fiona is yelling at Shrek that she is pregnant. Shrek has nightmares, of little ogre babies, all the way to Camelot to go find Arthur , nickname Artie. They find Camelot, which is a high school, they find Artie and find out that he is bullied by everyone (even the nerds). They tell Artie that he is the next in line for the thrown in Far, Far Away. That he is going to be the new Far, Far Away. They start a long journey back to Far, Far Away, when Artie wants to take control of the ship, then he crashes the ship into a big rock. They wash up on the shore of an island, and find Merlin, who used to be Artie teacher at the Camelot until he went a little wrong in one of his spells.

Back at Far, Far Away Fiona is having a baby shower for her ogre babies, with Snow White, Cinderella, one of the two Ugly Stepsisters, Rapunzel, Dragon, The Queen, Wolf, Gingerbeard Man, three blind Mice, Pinocchio, and the three little Pigs. Until Prince Charming comes to take over the kingdom, with all of the other villains. All the women sneak out in a secret tunnel, while the boys stay and stall. They find there way out, and Rapunzel runs to Charming, then they find out that Rapunzel had turn on they to be with Charming and become the Queen of Far, Far Away. Everyone was put into prison.

Shrek, Donkey, Puss n’ Boots, and Artie ask Merlin to cast a spell to send them back to Far, Far Away. When Merlin sends them to Far, Far Away, Merlin accidentally put Donkey and Puss body and Puss into Donkeys body. Shrek, Donkey (Puss), Puss (Donkey), and Artie are in Far, Far Away , and they find out that Charming had taken over Far, Far Away and started to make a play on how his life is or should have been.

Fiona and the girls escape from the prison. Shrek and the boys find Merlin and switches Puss and Donkey back, but they don’t have the tale that goes to there body. Charming is going throw the play and is about to kill Shrek until everyone is on the right side. So everyone is helping Shrek and Fiona to get Artie the new King of Far, Far Away. Arthur is now the new King of Far, Far Away.

The movie is not one of my favorites, but I still like the movie. I love Shrek movies. Watch the movie and I hope you like the movie. Wait for next week's blog.
