This blog is about the movie The Boxtrolls. It was made from the people who brought the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline, and Paranorman. This is a sweet and loveable movie. It is great to kids to learn how to treat people and other living creatures. I hope you enjoy!

The cast of The Boxtrolls are Elle Fanning as Winnie, who you may know off of Maleficent. Isaac Hempstead Wright as Eggs, who you may know off of the T.V. show Game of Thrones. Ben Kingsley as Archibald Snatcher, who you may know off of Self/Less. Nick Frost as Mr. Trout, who you may know off of Shaun of the Dead. Simon Pegg as Herbert Trubshaw, who you may as know off of Shaun of the Dead. Tracy Morgan as Mr. Gristle, who you may know off of The Longest Yard. Richard Ayoade as Mr. Pickle, who you may know off of The Watch. Dee Bradley Baker as Fish, who you may know off of many animated t.v. shows. Jared Harris as Lord Portley-Rind, who you may know off of Sherlock Holmes. Toni Collette as Lady Portley-Rind, who you may know off of The Way, Way Back.

The movie is about a town that is crawling with Boxtrolls that only come out at night and steal things from them. But what the don’t know is that Boxtrolls are loving creatures, that are all inventors. The Boxtrolls, mostly Fish, take care of a boy, who they name as Eggs. Every Boxtroll has a name, the name is on the box that they wear. There is a mean man who wants to “kill” all of the Boxtrolls. Mostly so he can be in the White hat club tasting cheese, but he is lactose intolerant. The boy grows up and then meets a girl named Winnie, she helps him save the Boxtrolls that are being taken away, by the evil guy. By the end of the movie everyone finds out that the Boxtrolls are kind and caring creatures. So the movie has a happy ending, with the Boxtrolls out helping and being normal (their normal) out in the town during the day.

The movie is great to spark kids interest. It lets children believe in creatures in the night, and loving and weird things that can spring their imagination. This movie can bring kids to want to start to build or invent things. May even to become a musician, for the amount of music that wa played in the movie. This is a great movie for kids to watch and want to learn from it. It is also good for adult to watch, mostly to make their children to stop bothering them, or to give their children something to scared of.

I hope you watch the movie and enjoy it. This movie is great for kids to watch and to think about becoming something that is very important. Watch The Boxtrolls, and I hope you like it. If you don’t your just as bad as Archibald Snatcher, and you’ll only get this joke if you watch the movie. So enjoy you movie lover, and wait the read about a great movie next week.
