The Dead Rising

The movie I am writing about is Paranorman. The creators that brought you Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas. The movie is similar to Coraline in many ways, but it is also different as well. It is one of my many favorite movies. Paranorman is a good and family loving movie you can watch for Halloween or anytime you feel like watching it.

The cast and crew of Paranorman are, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Norman, Anna Kendrick as Courtney, who you may know off of Pitch Perfect, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Alvin, who you may know off of Superbad, Casey Affleck as Mitch, who you may know off of Interstellar, Leslie Mann as Sandra Babcock, who you may know off of The Other Woman, Jeff Garlin as Perry Babcock, who you may know off of The Goldbergs, John Goodman as Mr. Prenderghast, who you may know off of The Flintstones, Tucker Albrizzi as Neil, who you may know off of Big Time Rush, and Jodelle Ferland as Aggie, you may know her off of Silent Hill.

The movie is about a boy who can see and talk to ghost. Norman is a strange kid, but he is more normal than many people in the movie. He loves anything to everything that is involved with the dead. Incudes, ghost and zombies, mostly zombies… BRAINS. No one is able to see the ghost, but him, so he is made fun of a lot, because people don’t believe him. Since Norman can see and talk to ghost he is the only one who can save his town form a witch who put a curse on it. Norman must read a bedtime story to the witch at her grave, so that she won’t wake up and destroy the whole town. Norman does all he can to put her to sleep for another year.

This movie is fun and sad, fun for all of the cool and creative things going on, but sad about the storyline of the witch. When I saw a preview to the movie, I thought it would be fun to watch, mostly because it is about a kid who can see ghost and it was a movie with zombies in it. This movie also shows you how friends and family can help you, even in some really, really bad times. The movie is also a good movie for kids to watch and learn from it, they can learn how to treat people with respect and not to judge something that you don’t understand or get a curse put on you, either way is fine.

I hope you like the movie and plan on watching it. The movie is also a fun loving movie for all living or unliving creatures to watch and have fun. The movie is great to watch with friends, family, or even by yourself (loner), but it is always best to watch this movie with friends. Enjoy the movie.
